Artifact Signing organization Verified ID sharing fails in Authenticator with technical problem
We are attempting Public Trust organization identity validation for a US LLC using Azure Artifact Signing. The existing validation is in Action Required state.
The AU10TIX government-issued identity credential was successfully issued and added to Microsoft Authenticator. When presenting the Verified ID to Artifact Signing, Authenticator reports “Something went wrong” and “We can’t continue because of a technical problem.” An earlier screen also reported “Required Verified ID not found.”
The organization application remains blocked. We do not want to delete the current validation or consume additional attempts without diagnosis.
Could the Artifact Signing identity-validation team investigate the backend Verified ID presentation/Face Check transaction, identify the failing requirement, and advise whether the existing request can be repaired or reset? We can provide subscription and validation IDs, request timestamps, and screenshots privately to a Microsoft moderator.
Our Azure subscription has Basic support, so the technical support ticket wizard will not allow a ticket. Please advise a secure escalation path.
