    Hi, @Dennis Hunsinger

You can curve the text to follow the shape of the disc.

    • Go to "Insert > WordArt" and enter your text.
    • Select the WordArt.
    • Go to "Shape Format > Text Effects > Transform".
    • Under "Follow Path", choose "Circle" or one of the "Arch" options.
    • Resize the WordArt box using the sizing handles until the curve matches the size of your disc.
    • Adjust the font size and spacing as needed to make it fit proportionately.

    Microsoft has the steps here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/graphics-visuals/curve-text-around-a-circle-or-other-shape

If you mean that you want several lines of text curved to completely fill the inside of the disc, rather than text following the circular edge, let me know because that would need a slightly different approach.

    Thanks!

Use WordArt or a regular Text box with a Transform text effect.

For a disc shape in PowerPoint on Windows:

    1. Insert the disc shape.
    2. Go to Insert > WordArt and choose a style.
    3. Replace the placeholder text with the text that should fit inside the disc.
    4. Select the WordArt text.
    5. Go to Shape Format > Text Effects > Transform.
    6. Choose a curved style that matches the disc.

If the text needs to follow a full circular path:

    1. In Transform, choose Circle under Follow Path.
    2. Drag the sizing handles on the WordArt until the curve fits the disc proportionately.

    Important limitation:

    • For very precise control, especially for complex shape-and-text combinations, a third-party drawing or graphics program may be needed.
    • If the disc has straight sections or multiple text areas, insert multiple WordArt objects and position each one separately.

A regular text box can also use Text Effects, but WordArt is the documented method for curving text around a shape.
