Why do MS take 1,85 per month for basic sub, when now the only option is 365

I have been paying 1,85 per month just to use Word. Now it only gives the option to use 365 which is more money. Is this the only option now? If so why do they continue to take 1,85 per month?

    The Microsoft 365 Basic subscription only includes 100GB of OneDrive storage, it does not include installing and using the Microsoft Office apps on your PC's, it is only the Microsoft 365 Personal or Family subscriptions that include installing and using the Office apps on your PC's.
