Managing personal Outlook.com account settings, security, and privacy
Hi @itay casado
I’m very sorry this happened. I understand how urgent and concerning this is, especially because the account contains your backup files.
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.
Account deletion also requires account ownership to be verified first, so the account cannot be closed from the forum while you are locked out.
To contact Microsoft Support directly, please follow these steps:
- Visit Contact Microsoft Support.
- Select Show expanded list of products.
- Choose Outlook > Get Home support.
- Search for Account Recovery, then select Get Help > Contact Support.
- Sign in with another Microsoft account if you cannot access the affected account.
- Ask our Support Assistant > Type "Talk to live chat agent" > Contact Support
- Select Other Products > Manage Account Security > Chat with a support agent via web browser.
Clearly explain that the account was compromised, the password and sign-in email were changed, and you want the account secured or closed. You can also use the official hacked-account recovery process.
Please be aware that support agents can guide you through the official process, but they cannot bypass identity verification or manually change account details. Before making another recovery attempt, run a full malware scan on the PC and change the passwords of any other accounts that used the same or a similar password.
Thank you for your understanding.
