    Welcome The Mikkens,

I'm sorry to hear you've been having such a frustrating experience, especially on a new computer.

Before suggesting more advanced troubleshooting, I'd like to clarify a few details because it sounds like there may be both a sign-in problem and a verification/recovery problem involved:

    • Are you using Outlook.com (Microsoft personal account) or an email address provided by another company/organization?
    • When you sign in on the new computer, do you receive the verification code at your Gmail address successfully, or are you unable to access that Gmail address?
    • Are you accessing your email through: Outlook.com in a web browser, or the Outlook app installed in Windows?
    • Can you still sign in to the same Microsoft account successfully on the other computer?

In the meantime, please check the following on the new computer:

    • Open a browser and go directly to the Microsoft account security page: Microsoft Account Security
    • Sign in with the same Microsoft account that you use for Outlook.com.
    • Select "Advanced security options" and confirm whether your Gmail address is still listed as a security email for receiving verification codes.
    • If the Gmail address is missing but you can still sign in on your other computer, let me know exactly what security methods are currently listed.

    Looking forward to your update.
