I create a service with all of the correct parameters and have deleted and recreated it a number of times. I use the event web part in sharepoint to display the services link so people can register.
The link from the sharepoint event webpart. I have verified the booking data many times and have entered them correctly each time. this date was never working. now the one the day before that was showing just the 1:30pm time is now showing the 3:30 time as well. I am totally frustrated with this M365 Bookings app. The system automatically created a phantom 3:30 pm teams link that does not exist in the bookings calendar

    Good day Roberta,

Thank you for providing the screenshots and detailed explanation.

Based on the screenshots, the 3:30 PM option isn't an existing Teams meeting. In Microsoft Bookings, a Teams meeting link is created only after someone completes the booking. The booking page is currently identifying 3:30 PM as an available time slot, even though no appointment exists yet.

To determine why that time is being offered, please try the following:

Option 1: If only the 1:30 PM session should be available

    Open Microsoft Bookings.

Go to Services and open the affected service > Select Availability options.

Under General availability, select Custom hours (recurring weekly), or alternatively use Set different availability for a specific date range if you need to configure availability for particular dates.

Configure the start time as 1:30 PM and the end time as 2:30 PM, then save the changes.

Allow a few minutes for the updates to sync, close the Microsoft Bookings page, reopen it and verify whether the available time slots are displayed as expected.

Here are the results from my test environment:

Option 2: Check the assigned staff availability

Open Bookings and go to Staff.

Open the staff member assigned to the service.

Confirm that Events on Office calendar affect availability is enabled.

Open the staff member’s primary Outlook calendar.

Create a calendar event covering the 3:30 PM period and set Show as to Busy or Out of office.

Save the event and allow a few minutes for Bookings to update.

    Check the booking page again.

Option 3: Check for additional assigned staff

    Open the service in Bookings.

    Review the Assigned staff list.

If multiple staff members are assigned, temporarily leave only the intended staff member assigned.

Save the service and test the booking page again.

Option 4: Check for recently changed settings

Open the booking page directly from Microsoft Bookings instead of through SharePoint.

Test the link in an InPrivate or Incognito window.

If the direct Bookings page is correct but SharePoint still shows the extra time slot, remove and re-add the booking link in the SharePoint event.

If the 3:30 PM time slot still appears after completing these checks, please share screenshots of your service duration and buffer time, scheduling policy and time increment, service availability settings, staff availability settings and business hours, with any personal information removed.

These details will help identify which availability setting is allowing the 3:30 PM slot to appear, and I'll do my best to assist you further based on the information you provide.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out at any time.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
