In classic Outlook for Windows, turn off the out-of-office message like this:

    1. Open Outlook.
    2. On the ribbon, select File.
    3. Select Automatic Replies.
    4. In the Automatic Replies window, turn off Send automatic replies or select Turn off from the banner under the ribbon if it appears.
    5. Select OK to save.

If Automatic Replies is not available, that account type does not use the built-in out-of-office feature. In that case, use rules instead.

    Hi Nancy,

If you want to stop an Out of Office (Automatic Replies) message in Outlook, you may try:

    • Open Outlook.
    • Select File > Automatic Replies.
    • In the Automatic Replies window > select Do not send automatic replies

    User's image

    • If automatic replies are currently enabled, Outlook may also display a message under the ribbon indicating that Out of Office is turned on. If you see this banner, simply select Turn off to disable the automatic replies.
    • On Outlook on the web, you can also go to Settings (gear icon) > Account > Automatic replies and switch them off there.
    • If you do not see Automatic Replies in Classic Outlook, you can check File > Manage Rules & Alerts and disable any rule that is sending automatic replies. For reference: Use rules to create an out of office message in classic Outlook for Windows.

Please note that you can only disable the automatic replies created from your account.

I hope this information is helpful.
