    Hi, @Carlos Cadavid

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. What exact error message or error code are you getting? Please post a screenshot if possible, but hide any personal information.
    2. Is this a personal OneDrive account or a work/school account?
    3. If you sign in at https://onedrive.live.com can you see your files there normally?

Also, click the OneDrive cloud icon near the clock on your taskbar. If it shows a sync error, click it and check which file or folder OneDrive says is causing the problem.

Please let me know what error it shows before resetting or reinstalling OneDrive.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

Try this order for OneDrive sync errors on a PC:

    1. Check whether OneDrive is running.
      • Look for the white or blue OneDrive cloud icon in the taskbar notification area.
      • If the icon is missing, it may be moved into Show hidden icons, or OneDrive may not be running.
    2. Open the sync error details.
      • Right-click the OneDrive icon and review the current sync problem.
      • If available, use View sync problems to see which files or folders are failing.
    3. Check common causes.
      • If the OneDrive account is full or nearly full, new files will not upload or sync.
      • If a file is open in another app, save and close it, then try again.
      • If the folder is not selected for syncing, open OneDrive Settings > Choose Folders and make sure the needed folder is selected.
    4. Stop and re-establish sync.
      • Right-click the OneDrive icon in the notification area.
      • Select Stop syncing a folder…
      • Choose the affected folder, select Stop syncing, then confirm.
      • Start syncing the library again.
      • This disconnects the folder from the library but keeps files in both the local folder and the library.
      • Do not rename the synced folder after sync is established, because that breaks the sync relationship.
    5. If issues continue, try unlinking and relinking the account.
      • This is listed as a next step when general sync troubleshooting does not resolve the problem.
    6. If using the older OneDrive for work or school sync app (groove.exe), use Repair.
      • Right-click the OneDrive menu icon in the taskbar notification area.
      • Select Repair, then select Repair again in the dialog.
      • Do not restart the PC while Repair is running.
      • This applies only to the previous OneDrive for work or school sync app, not the newer sync app.
    7. Review file restrictions if only certain files fail.
      • Sync can stop because of unsupported file names, file types, size, or other restrictions and limitations.

If the problem is specifically a large number of errors, stopping sync and syncing again is the recommended reset path because it gets fresh data.
