In OneNote for Windows, the shortcuts are:

    • Superscript: Ctrl+Shift+=
    • Subscript: Ctrl+=

In some OneNote shortcut listings, superscript is also shown as Ctrl+Shift++ because + shares the same key as = on many keyboards.

For OneNote for Mac, the shortcuts are:

    • Superscript: Command+Shift+Option+=
    • Subscript: Command+Control+Option+=

    Hello Brandon Ryan,

In OneNote for Windows desktop, select the text you want to format, then press:

    • Superscript: Ctrl+Shift+Plus (+)
    • Subscript: Ctrl+Shift+Minus (-)

Press the same shortcut again to remove that formatting.
