Before submitting an Organization identity validation for Azure Artifact Signing (formerly Trusted Signing), I want to confirm eligibility to avoid a rejected request.
Our entity is a US (Colorado) LLC formed in 2025 — so it currently has under one year of verifiable business history. We have an EIN and a D-U-N-S number, both listing the registered address.
During the 2025 public preview, the prerequisites required a US/Canada organization with 3+ years of verifiable history, and I have seen support decline onboarding for younger companies. The current GA prerequisites page does not appear to state that 3-year requirement.
My questions: (1) Under current GA, is a US LLC formed in 2025 (under 3 years old) eligible to complete Public Trust Organization identity validation? (2) If a minimum business-history requirement still applies, what is it, and is there any exception path (e.g., additional documentation)? (3) If we are not eligible yet, what are the supported alternatives to sign under the company's name (e.g., a third-party OV/EV CA)?
