i meant how do i change my mum's name to mine when having an online class,you know when you are having an online class the name of the owner will show,but i'm now the new owner so how do i change it

@Lami Salihu-A you don't appear to be the originator of this thread.

But to answer your question in the short term you can sign-in using your mothers details and create a new profile using your account. Then your account will show on the sign-in screen and when you sign-in your details will be the only ones visible.

Go to Settings > Accounts > Your Accounts and Add a Microsoft account using your account details. Sign out or restart the device and your new account should be available via the sign-in screen.

Are you going to give away or sell your computer to someone else?

If yes, for a full transfer, your best option is to factory reset your computer. This way, all your personal files and settings will be removed, and the new owner can set it up from the start.

Press the Windows key + L to go to the sign-in screen.

Press and hold the Shift button, then click the power icon on your monitor and select Restart while still holding Shift.

This will take you to the recovery menu.

Click Troubleshoot > Reset This PC.

Remove and erase anything you feel you need to remove and then do a factory restore. The rest is between you and the person you are selling it to.

If your Mum is the administrator of the computer, then have her create an account for you.
