I understand that your Microsoft Rewards dashboard shows 21,000 points, but when you check your statement or click Redeem, your available balance is only 135 points.

Please check your Microsoft Rewards points history at https://rewards.bing.com/ and review your recent transactions to verify your current points balance.

Also, check whether the 21,000 points appear as your available balance or whether they are simply displayed on your dashboard. Since the Redeem page recognizes only 135 points, that may be the current redeemable balance, but Microsoft Rewards Support would need to verify the discrepancy.

If your points history does not explain the difference, contacting Microsoft Rewards Support would be the best next step: https://rewards.bing.com/support

The support team for Bing Rewards has the essential tools and resources to investigate this issue. Please note that their response time is usually within 24 hours, but it may take longer depending on the volume of tickets they receive (first come, first served). Thank you.

Check whether Give Mode is enabled, because Microsoft specifically identifies it as a cause of different balances appearing on the Rewards dashboard.^1^

    Resolve the mismatch

    1. Open the Microsoft Rewards dashboard and check the Give Mode setting. If it is on, turn it off and check the balance again.
    2. Sign out of Bing and Microsoft Rewards, then sign back in using the exact Microsoft account that earned the 21,000 points. Microsoft lists being signed into different accounts, or browser data not synchronizing with the Rewards database, as other causes of an incorrect balance.^1^
    3. Open the Rewards dashboard and redemption page in a private browsing window or another browser. This avoids using an old signed-in session.
    4. Do not use a VPN or proxy. Rewards must be redeemed in the same region as the Microsoft account, and Microsoft advises against using a VPN during redemption.^2^

Because both the statement and redemption page show 135, do not redeem anything until Microsoft confirms whether the 21,000 display is a synchronization issue or represents a different balance category.

If it still shows 21,000 versus 135

Submit the issue through Microsoft Rewards Support. Include:

    • Screenshots of the 21,000-point display, statement, and redemption page.
    • The date the mismatch began.
    • The browser and device used.
    • Confirmation that all pages use the same Microsoft account.
    • Confirmation of whether Give Mode was enabled.

Only Rewards Support can investigate and correct an account-level points discrepancy.
