Using Classic Outlook on Windows for personal email, calendar, and contact management
Hi Laurie Ballam,
Thank you for clarifying that you are referring to the Notes module in classic Outlook, rather than OneNote or Sticky Notes. These notes may not appear in OneNote, and support for the Notes module is currently limited in new Outlook.
In new Outlook, select the toggle in the upper-right corner and choose Use classic Outlook this time or Switch back to classic Outlook. Once classic Outlook opens, select More Apps on the navigation bar, then select Notes. You can also try pressing Ctrl+5 to open the Notes view.
If the toggle is unavailable, search for Outlook (classic) from the Windows Start menu. If it does not appear, classic Outlook may need to be reinstalled using Microsoft’s official instructions.
Since the notes are critical, please avoid uninstalling Office or deleting any Outlook data files until you have confirmed that the notes are accessible or backed up. Thank you so much for your understanding.
