I am writing to seek assistance regarding an issue with accessing my Microsoft 365 Siswa email account. When I attempt to log in, I am asked to complete a verification process using my Bangladeshi phone number.

However, I have recently arrived in Malaysia, and I am currently unable to receive the verification code on my Bangladeshi number. As a result, I am unable to access my university email account.

I would appreciate it if you could guide me on how to resolve this issue. Is it possible to use an alternative verification method or update my authentication details to a Malaysian phone number?

Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum.

I understand you recently moved to Malaysia and can no longer receive the verification code sent to your Bangladeshi number. On the sign-in verification screen, please select Sign in another way and check whether another verification method, such as Microsoft Authenticator, is available.

If you can sign in, you can then update your phone number under Security info. If no alternative verification method is available, please contact your university IT administrator for help resetting your authentication methods.
