Microsoft Candy Crush Gift Cards officially gone?

After being 'out of stock' for over 2 months, the link to the Candy Crush Gift Card is now offering a 'Page Not Found' message. I'm assuming that means for many or most of us they will not be restocking?

I wish they would have just said that like 1 or 2 months ago. :-(

Hi,

I understand. However, since Candy Crush is now part of Microsoft (via King), there is no official information stating that the gift card has been removed from the Microsoft Rewards program.

I’ve seen this happen before—for instance, with Roblox Robux; the page becomes unavailable, but after a few months, it returns, sometimes with different gift card values.

I believe they might have taken the page down simply because there is no stock of codes for the region, and they will reactivate it once codes become available again.

Rest assured, demand is very high; if they were actually discontinuing it, Microsoft would have informed users about the removal of the Candy Crush gift card.

The only option is to wait for the codes to be restocked or for an official announcement from Microsoft regarding the Candy Crush gift card (in my opinion, it hasn't been removed).

Thanks.

The Candy Crush Gift Card is not officially confirmed as discontinued: Microsoft still has a live Rewards listing for it, so a “Page Not Found” result alone does not establish that it is permanently gone.^1^

What the missing page likely means

Microsoft states that:

  • Some gift cards are not always available.
  • Reward offers vary by country, account, region, and market.
  • Customers should use the Rewards catalog for their own account to see what is currently available.
  • Support cannot provide details about when gift cards will be restocked or removed.^2^

Therefore, the old direct link could be unavailable while the reward is out of stock, unavailable in your market, or being changed. It is not an official discontinuation announcement.

Check its status for your account

  1. Sign in to the Microsoft account associated with Rewards.
  2. Open the Rewards dashboard → Redeem catalog rather than relying on the old direct link.
  3. Use the same country or region in which you joined Rewards, and do not use a VPN.
  4. Search the catalog for Candy Crush Gift Card.

If it appears, the direct link was likely stale or temporarily unavailable. If it does not appear, it is not currently available to your account or market. Microsoft’s policy also recognizes that rewards may be “out of stock or unavailable for other reasons.”^3^

Unfortunately, Microsoft does not publish a restock schedule, and the official guidance explicitly says Support cannot disclose when a gift card will be restocked or removed.^2^ The practical options are to check the signed-in Redeem catalog periodically or choose another available reward.

I have heard that different regions are out while others are not, so I was aware of that. But I'm not even seeing the Candy Crush Gift Card option alongside the other Microsoft GC reward options all of a sudden on my dashboard. That seems a bit more final than just the normal 'restocking, back soon' message?

    Hi,

As of now, there has been no official confirmation from Microsoft that the Candy Crush Saga gift card has been removed from the Microsoft Rewards program.

A user was able to redeem one last week; however, when gift cards run out, there is no set timeframe for when they might return. It is possible that there are simply no codes available in your region at the moment—they could reappear tomorrow, or perhaps not for several months.

You will need to wait for the gift card codes to be restocked in your region.
