EMPTY EMAIL FOLDERS IN AOL

Please note that AOL is a third-party service and is not affiliated with Microsoft. Since the affected emails are stored in an AOL mailbox, Microsoft Community members cannot access or restore them directly.

I understand how concerning this must be, especially since the missing emails contain important personal records.

Please first sign in directly to AOL Mail through a web browser and check whether the folders are also empty there. You may also check the Trash and Spam folders, search for a known sender or subject, and review any mail filters that may have moved the messages.

If the emails are visible on AOL’s website but missing only from Outlook or another email application, please let me know which application you are using. If the emails are also missing from AOL Mail itself, you will need to contact AOL Support so they can review the mailbox and determine whether recovery is possible.
