Run Action > Scan for hardware changes in Device Manager, or pnputil /scan-devices in an admin terminal.
Restart the audio services from an admin terminal:
net stop audiosrv /y
net start audiosrv
Also restart Windows Audio Endpoint Builder.
This only helps if the hardware is still enumerated, so it may not work here.
Unplug and replug the dock’s Thunderbolt cable. If the audio devices come back, the Thunderbolt/USB stack is involved.
Turn on Show hidden devices in Device Manager and check “Sound, video and game controllers” and “Software components”. If the audio controller shows an error, disable and re-enable it.
Reboot.
