My Azure login requires a 6-digit Microsoft Authenticator code, but the Microsoft Authenticator registration associated with the account only generates an 8-digit code. I can successfully verify ownership through email verification and other methods

My Azure login requires a 6-digit Microsoft Authenticator code, but the Microsoft Authenticator registration associated with the account only generates an 8-digit code. I can successfully verify ownership through email verification and other methods, but Azure always returns to the incompatible Authenticator prompt.

I have reset my password several times today, verified myself through 2 emails, a push sent to my microsoft authenticator and a code from a 3rd party authenticator. It always circles back and asks for a verification code but only accepts 6 digits.
