Hello @Kobi
Welcome to Microsoft Q&A!
Thank you for your patience, and taking the time to elaborate on your concerns.
The GPO is linked to an incorrect Organizational Unit (OU), preventing the intended users or computers from receiving the configured policy settings.
Resolution Steps:
- Open Group Policy Management: Run
gpmc.mscon a domain-joined computer with the necessary administrative permissions. Locate the GPO and identify the correct OU containing the target users or computers. - Link the GPO to the Correct OU: Right-click the correct OU, select Link an Existing GPO, and choose the required policy. Verify that the GPO link is enabled and the intended targets have permission to apply it.
- Update and Verify Group Policy: On the affected computer, open Command Prompt and run
gpupdate /force. Then rungpresult /rto confirm whether the expected GPO is applied.
Expected Outcome: The GPO is linked to the correct OU, and the intended users or computers receive the configured policy settings.
