Hello Microsoft Artifact Signing Support,

Our Organization / Public Trust identity validation for organization was marked Failed immediately after submitting the requested domain-registration documentation.

We provided a consolidated PDF containing:

  • The original paid Namecheap registration receipt for the domain
  • Current registrar contact information identifying our organization

The domain's ICANN registration and expiration information

A signed domain ownership assignment letter explaining the original personal purchase and subsequent assignment to the LLC

Namecheap confirmed that it cannot reissue the original purchase receipt under a different registrant.

Please escalate this request to Artifact Signing Vetting Operations for manual review.

We would like to know which specific verification requirement failed, whether the submitted documents can be reconsidered, and whether the existing validation can be reopened without consuming additional attempts.

Artifact Signing account: [can provide if needed]

Identity Validation ID: [can provide if needed]

Thank you.

    Hi Jorge,

Since your organization validation failed immediately after submitting the requested documents, I recommend requesting a manual review through Azure Support under Artifact Signing.

In your support request, include the existing Identity Validation ID and ask the validation team to identify the specific requirement that failed, review the domain ownership evidence, and confirm whether the existing validation can be reconsidered without starting a new request.

The original receipt being in an individual's name may require additional verification of the transfer to your LLC, but only Microsoft's validation team can confirm the actual rejection reason.

I would avoid submitting another validation request until Support clarifies the next steps. Please share the documents and validation details privately through the support case rather than posting them publicly.

Thank you, and feel free to respond back for more assistance.
