Hello Microsoft Support,

I believe my Microsoft account may have been hacked, and I have lost access to it.

My original email address is ******@gmail.com. I used this email to receive Microsoft-related messages, including information about my PC Game Pass subscription.

Recently, when I tried to sign in to Minecraft, Microsoft asked me to verify an email address belonging to someone I do not know: ******@doraswjth.live. I have no connection to this person and do not recognize this email address.

When I try to sign in using my original Gmail address, Microsoft says that no account exists with that email address. I am concerned that someone may have changed the email address or security information associated with my Microsoft account without my permission.

I also received an email about the cancellation of my PC Game Pass subscription at around midnight on October 14, 2026. I did not expect this cancellation.

I can still access my original Gmail account and have retained the email confirming the subscription cancellation. I can provide the order ID and any other information needed to help verify my ownership.

I would appreciate your help recovering my original Microsoft account and restoring access to Minecraft and any associated purchases or subscriptions.

Please let me know what steps I need to take to prove that I am the rightful owner of the account.

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Kind regards,

    Hello, I’m Virginia.

Usually if you sign in & it states the account cannot be found then it indicates the hacker has changed the email address to theirs & deleted your account, if this is the case then the account cannot be recovered.

However try recovering your account here:

    Hacked:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-recover-a-hacked-or-compromised-microsoft-account-24ca907d-bcdf-a44b-4656-47f0cd89c245

    Or:

    Can’t sign in:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/you-can-t-sign-in-to-your-microsoft-account-475c9b5c-8c25-49f1-9c2d-c64b7072e735

You can also try https://support.microsoft.com/home/contact & type Account Recovery in the box, then choose the Contact Support tab above & select Windows, then recovery from the drop-down menus.

I have further options if this doesn’t work.
