How do I get the shipping label for the service order I have created and paid for?
The order was created 3 days ago, I have waited over 24 hours and it has not been emailed.

I know how urgent this is for you, Xanthe Loffel-Lush.

Based on your repeated requests below, I hope it's safe to assume that you already checked the spam/junk emails with no success, and there's no Print shipping label in the Order status page. Since 3 days have passed, it's reasonable to reach out to the support team. There are two ways to go about this:

    • If you can still access your Surface, you can use the Surface app > Get Help feature.
    • If you cannot, sign in with your account at Contact Us - Microsoft Support:
      • Enter / choose an issue > click Get Help to make request
      • Scroll down to the bottom > click Ask our Support Assistant
      • Specifically state in the chat box that you need direct help for the issue.
      • The Contact Support button should appear > select chat in browser option.

Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you. If you don't see chat option, choose another category and ask to escalate.

I wish I could help more directly, but Microsoft Q&A is just a user-to-user technical support forum. Community members cannot access your personal account data, verify service order or generate/reissue its shipping label. I hope you can get in contact with the support team soon.

Open the Surface service order from your Microsoft account’s Devices page and select Print shipping label; since the order was created three days ago, there is no need to wait longer for the email.

    Retrieve the label online

    1. Go to Microsoft account | Devices.
    2. Sign in with the same Microsoft account used to create and pay for the service order.
    3. Find the Surface associated with the order and expand its details.
    4. Next to Service Orders, select Check status.
    5. Open Print shipping label. This should display the label and its tracking number so that you can print or save it. ^1^

Microsoft advises checking spam or junk if the email has not arrived within 24 hours. Since your order is already three days old, check those folders once, but use the Devices page rather than continuing to wait. ^1^

If there is no Print shipping label option

    • Read the instructions shown within the service order. Some regions use courier pickup or local drop-off instead of an emailed shipping label. If that applies, the order should provide the relevant instructions. ^2^
    • If the order is visible but has neither a label nor alternative shipping instructions, contact Surface Support:
      1. Open the Surface support page in a browser.
      2. Describe the issue, such as “Paid Surface service order has no shipping label after three days.”
      3. Select Get Help and proceed to the available contact option. ^3^

Have the service-order number available for the support agent, but do not post the number, device serial number, address, email address, or other personal details publicly.
