    Hello,

Please check whether the subscription is active under your Microsoft Account here:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

If the Subscription is active, make sure you've signed in with the same account in the Office applications.

Or you can sign out of your Microsoft account in the Office apps, then sign back in. This will resync your active subscription.

    • Click File > Accounts > Sign out.
    • Then, sign in with your Microsoft account.

Let me know if you still need more help.

Close every Microsoft 365 app, verify that the renewed subscription appears as active under the Microsoft account used for payment, and then reopen Office and sign in with that same account.

    Verify and refresh the subscription

    1. Close Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and all other Microsoft 365 applications.
    2. Open the Microsoft account Services & subscriptions page:
      https://account.microsoft.com/services
    3. Sign in with the Microsoft account used to renew Microsoft 365.
    4. Under Subscriptions, confirm that Microsoft 365 shows:
      • Has recurring billing with a future renewal date, or
      • Expires on with a future expiration date.
    5. Reopen Word or Excel. If prompted, sign in with that same Microsoft account. Microsoft notes that restarting all Office applications—and sometimes signing in again—is required after renewal to remove the old notice.^1^

If the subscription is active online but Office says it cannot find a product, check File → Account in Word or Excel and ensure the signed-in address matches the account displaying the subscription.

If the renewal was purchased from a retailer

Payment alone does not activate a retail box, card, or product-key purchase. Go to https://office.com/setup, sign in with the account that should own the subscription, and enter the product key from the card or retail receipt. If the purchase was digital, follow the activation link in the email receipt; check the junk-mail folder if necessary.^2^

If the subscription is active but the notice remains

Run Microsoft’s activation troubleshooter on the affected computer:

    1. Open the Microsoft Support activation page below.
    2. Under Microsoft 365: Use the Microsoft 365 activation troubleshooter, start the troubleshooter.
    3. When prompted that the site is trying to open Get Help, select Open.
    4. Complete the prompts and reopen Office.

The troubleshooter must run on the Windows PC containing the affected installation and requires Windows 10 or later.^3^

If the online expiration date is wrong despite the completed payment, or the subscription is active but the troubleshooter cannot activate Office, contact Microsoft Support through the Contact Support option on the renewal-problems page. Keep the payment receipt available, but do not post order numbers or account details publicly.^1^
