    Hi Morales,

Thank you for sharing your concern.

To assist you more effectively, could you please provide the following additional information?

    • Which Microsoft product or service are you using to create and store the reports?
    • What type of repository are you referring to?
    • Could you share a screenshot of the email notification, with any personal or sensitive information removed?
    • Is the email sent only to you, or to multiple recipients or a distribution list?

Please feel free to share the information in the comment below. Once I have it, I'll be better positioned to guide you through the next steps.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

To stop receiving an email each time you submit a Microsoft Learn Q&A moderation report, leave the optional email-address field blank when creating future reports.

    Submit reports without email updates

    1. On the question or answer, select Report (the flag icon). For a comment, select More options (three dots) → Report.
    2. Select the reason and enter any necessary details.
    3. Do not provide an email address in the report dialog.
    4. Select Submit.

Microsoft Q&A requests an email address only when you want updates about that specific report. That address is used for the report case and is separate from your general Q&A email preferences.^1^

There is no documented account-level switch that suppresses these case-update emails while continuing to provide an email address with every report. The sender displayed as Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate does not change where the notification is initiated.

If these are regular Q&A notifications instead

If the messages concern followed questions, answers, comments, mentions, or tags—not reports:

    1. Sign in to Microsoft Learn Q&A.
    2. Select your avatar → Settings.
    3. Scroll to Q&A preferences.
    4. Disable Q&A email notifications.
    5. Alternatively, keep notifications enabled and turn off only the unwanted question, answer, comment, mention, or follow options.
    6. Select Save.^2^

Disabling Q&A notifications does not necessarily stop certain administrative messages, including moderation-group changes, reported-content review notices, and account suspension notices.^2^

Avoid blocking [Email] unless filtering is the only acceptable fallback, because that could hide unrelated Power Apps or Power Automate messages sent from the same address.
