    1

    Close the Store app.

Press the Windows Key + R to open the Run dialog.

In the run box, type this and click OK

    wsreset -i

When the Command Prompt window closes, open the Store app and check if that resolves the problem.

If that does not resolve the problem, please provide a screenshot of the error you are seeing trying to download the app.

Also, click your Start Button, type winver and press Enter, please provide a screenshot of the resulting dialog.

Try these Windows 11 steps in order:

    1. Restart the PC
Go to Start > Power > Restart. If Windows was recently updated, a restart can be required before Microsoft Store apps will install.
    2. Reset the Microsoft Store cache
Press Windows + R, type wsreset.exe, then select OK.
A blank Command Prompt window opens, then Microsoft Store should open automatically after about 10 seconds.
    3. Check whether the app is compatible and available
Microsoft Store can hide or block install options if:
      • the app is not available in the current country or region
      • the app is no longer available
      • the app is not compatible with the device
      • family settings are hiding it
    4. Repair or reset the app if it is already installed but not working
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps.
Select the app, then Advanced options > Repair.
If that does not help, select Reset.
    5. If it is a desktop program rather than a Store app
Go to Start > Settings > Apps > Installed apps, select the app, and try Uninstall first, then install it again.

If the issue is specifically with Windows App and Microsoft Store is unavailable, it can be installed manually with PowerShell after downloading the package and dependencies on another machine using:

    winget download --id 9N1F85V9T8BN

Then install the required dependencies first, followed by the Windows App package with Add-AppxPackage. Use package files that match the PC architecture.
