Welcome to Microsoft Q&A

Hello @Clifden Mckenna ,

The exact limit depends on the type of Outlook account you're using.

Since your message was sent to only 34 contacts, the error may indicate one of the following:

  • Your account has already reached its daily sending quota from earlier messages.
  • Your account is new and subject to temporary lower limits.
  • Microsoft has temporarily restricted sending activity based on account reputation or unusual activity.

To help increase sending limits and improve account reputation, Microsoft recommends:

  • Keeping your account information and security details up to date.
  • Adding recipients to your Contacts.
  • Using Microsoft Authenticator.
  • Waiting for the 24-hour restriction period to expire if you've reached a quota threshold.

Could you let us know whether you're using:

  • A personal Outlook.com account, or
  • A Microsoft 365 work/school account?
