New Copilot app on IOS devices missing chat history

Hi, I've updated my Copilot app a couple of weeks ago and noticed that the old app has been deprecated. However, when I opened the new app and logged in using the same account. All my chat history is missing.

I know that all the chat history are available as I have managed to see them using Export all activity history to download a CSV copy.

Another thing is that I see the message showing Copilot App just got a refresh. Your past chats, Copilot Tasks, and Copilot Health are coming soon. I understand that there is a sync issue, however, its been more than 2 weeks, when will this be fixed, or is there a way to fix this faster/permanently?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi, Alvin Wibawa

Having the old conversations in your CSV is reassuring, but it doesn’t confirm that they’ve successfully transferred into the new app. There hasn't been a published completion date or a verified permanent fix for this migration issue.

Here are some suggestions you can try:

Open Copilot in Safari and check whether your older conversations appear there. If they do, use the browser temporarily rather than troubleshooting the iPhone app further. This is an access workaround, not a way to force the transfer.

Since it’s already been over two weeks, it is recommended that you contact Microsoft Support and request an investigation into your account’s chat-history migration. Include your iOS version, Copilot app version, approximate update date, a screenshot of the banner, and whether the browser also has missing chats. Clearly mention that the CSV contains the missing conversations.

Keep that CSV safely stored, and don’t post it publicly or delete your activity history while the issue is being investigated.
