I set my laptop setting to automatic update of wind. But when a new update of the window is available, it tries to update the window, and after 3%, it says the following: "window update, can't install updates. Select this message to fit"

    Try this in order:

    1. Check for the update manually.
      • In Windows 11, go to Start > Settings > Windows Update.
      • Select Check for updates.
      • If an update appears, select Download & install.
    2. Restart the laptop.
      • Many update failures are temporary.
      • After restarting, go back to Settings > Windows Update and try again.
    3. Make sure the laptop is connected to the internet.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi.
      • Confirm the device is connected.
    4. Check free disk space.
      • Windows needs enough storage for updates.
      • A device requires at least 16 GB free space for a 32-bit OS or 20 GB for a 64-bit OS to upgrade.
      • If storage is low, free up space and try the update again.
    5. Run the Windows Update troubleshooter.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters.
      • Under Get up and running, select Windows Update.
      • Select Run the troubleshooter and follow the prompts.
    6. If the update is stuck at a low percentage, try checking again.
      • Go to Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update > Check for updates.
    7. If another app is blocking the update, temporarily disable third-party antivirus or firewall software, then try again.
      • This can help with update failures caused by another program.
    8. After updates install, restart to apply them.
      • Select Start > Power > Update and restart or Update and shut down.

If Windows Update still fails, the next supported step is to use the Windows update troubleshooting guidance for common error conditions.
