Hello C Del,
Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!
Based on the issue description as well as the message "You are currently signed in using a Microsoft Entra ID account. The purchase of Professional Support plans must be made using a Microsoft account (MSA) / personal account." from the provided screenshot. This is not an operational mistake on your part; it is a product design limitation. Professional Support (Pay-Per-Incident, PPI) plans are currently not available for Microsoft Entra ID accounts. When you sign in with an Entra ID, the system cannot associate any purchasable or usable support plan, so it shows “We were unable to find an eligible support plan associated with your account.”
As a result, you might need to purchase a Pay-Per-Incident professional support incident and then submit a ticket online. The steps to do that is to click the account avatar in the upper-right corner and select “Sign out.” Then sign in again with a Microsoft account (MSA) by using your personal account. If you do not have a personal MSA, you can create one temporarily. After signing in, reselect “Windows Server 2022” and the corresponding problem type. At this point, a “Buy now” option should appear on the page. Click “Buy now” to purchase one support incident (PPI). After successful purchase, you can fill in the problem description normally and submit the ticket.
On the other hand, if your organization has already purchased a contract that includes technical support incidents through a partner or reseller (such as a Partner Support contract), you do not need to repurchase. You can submit directly using the contract credentials.
I hope you have found something useful here. If it helps you get more insight into the issue, it is appreciated to accept the answer. Should you have more questions, feel free to leave a message. Have a nice day!
