    Hi, @Brian K1951

Have you already tried right-clicking the icon on the taskbar and selecting "Unpin from taskbar"?

This only removes the shortcut from the taskbar; it does not uninstall the app.

If you do not see "Unpin from taskbar," let me know which icon you are trying to remove.

Click "Add comment" to let me know.

    Thanks!

Right-click the app icon on the taskbar and select Unpin from taskbar.^1^

On a laptop touchpad, right-click usually means tapping with two fingers or pressing the bottom-right corner of the touchpad.

If Unpin from taskbar does not appear, it may be a system or notification icon:

    1. Right-click an empty area of the taskbar.
    2. Select Taskbar settings.
    3. Under Notification area, select:
      • Select which icons appear on the taskbar, or
      • Turn system icons on or off.
    4. Switch the unwanted icon to Off.^1^

Unpinning removes only the shortcut; it does not uninstall the application.
