An Azure platform as a service offer that is used to deploy web and cloud applications.
Hi Loh Wai Kit & thx for join me at Q&A platform,
Given everything u've already tried, I wouldn't spend more time switching browsers or clearing cache. If the School Name dropdown fails across multiple devices and networks, there's a good chance the problem is with the academic verification service or its school lookup API.
One useful check would be opening the browser's Developer Tools (F12), going to the Network tab, and typing ur school name again. Look for any failed requests when the dropdown should populate, especially 403, 429, or 5xx responses. A 200 response with an empty result would point more toward a missing institution record or a country-specific lookup issue.
Also, does the dropdown stay empty for every school name, or only for ur institution? That's an important distinction. If no schools appear at all, it suggests the lookup itself isn't working. If other schools appear but yours doesn't, the institution may be missing from the verification database.
Unfortunately, manually typing the school name won't bypass a dropdown that requires a validated institution record. If the lookup service is failing, Microsoft will need to investigate it on their side.
rgds,
Alex
