Also i also had the recovery code and when i try to use it i get an error stating that this code is not correct. If i can somehow get my account back it will be a big save for me.

    Hi Zain Raza,

I can understand why regaining this account is especially important when your Minecraft access and content work are connected to it.

Regarding the recovery code, Microsoft states that generating a new recovery code automatically invalidates any previously issued code. Therefore, the “code is not correct” message may mean that the code you saved is no longer the active one, although this cannot be confirmed from the forum.

If you are still signed in on any trusted device, browser, Xbox app, or Minecraft launcher, avoid signing out for now. Then use the Microsoft Sign-in Helper and enter the original Microsoft account address or another legitimate alias that previously belonged to the account. If the tool directs you to an ownership verification form, provide the original account information rather than the unfamiliar address.

Since this is a user-to-user support forum, contributors cannot inspect the account, remove the unfamiliar email address, or replace its security information. Microsoft Support must verify ownership through the official recovery process, and support agents cannot manually send password-reset links or change account details.

Please also avoid posting the complete unfamiliar email address, recovery code, passwords, purchase information, or verification codes in this public thread.

I hope the Sign-in Helper can identify an available recovery option for the original account. Thank you so much for your understanding.

Use the official account recovery path immediately:

    1. Run a full malware scan on the PC first, before changing anything.
      • Open Virus and threat protection
      • Select Scan options > Full scan > Scan now
    2. Start with the Microsoft Sign-in Helper tool. It can guide to the correct recovery option and may offer self-help or the chance to talk to an agent.
    3. If sign-in still fails, try the standard recovery flow:
      • Select Recover your account
      • Enter the email address, phone number, or Skype name used to sign in
      • If the address is not recognized, check the domain carefully and try any other alias or phone number that was on the account
      • Choose where to receive the security code
      • Enter the code, then set a new password if verification succeeds
    4. If the recovery options now show an unfamiliar address such as the bibimail.net address, use the Microsoft account recovery form and provide as much accurate information as possible. Microsoft reviews the answers and sends the result to the working email address provided in the form within 24 hours.
      • If verification fails, the form can be retried up to two times per day.
    5. If the account is recovered, immediately review account settings that attackers often change:
      • connected accounts
      • forwarding
      • automatic replies
    6. After recovery, strengthen the account:
      • Add another way to sign in or verify identity in Advanced security options
      • Consider Microsoft Authenticator or going passwordless

    Important limits from Microsoft support:

    • Support agents are not allowed to send password reset links or access and change account details.
    • If two-step verification was turned on and none of the alternate verification methods are accessible, support cannot bypass that.
