how to get microsoft edge to reinstall after wrongly uninstalling it. micosoft says it is installed and is listed buy it will not work since edge.exe etc is missing

Since Edge is still listed as installed, try repairing it to restore the missing program files:

Open Settings >> Apps >> Installed apps >> Microsoft Edge >> three dots (…) >> Modify >> Yes >> Repair.

Keep your internet connection active until it finishes, then try opening Edge. Your existing browsing data and settings should be preserved.

If Modify won’t open or Repair fails, please share the exact error message.
