So, my PC used a DELL E2423H monitor (that's definitely 60Hz), but somehow in the advanced display settings it showed 60,000Hz and that's the only option in the dropdown please fix

    Hi Đức Kiên Lê,

Since the monitor is actually 60 Hz but Windows is displaying 60,000 Hz, this may be an incorrect display-mode value rather than the monitor actually operating at that refresh rate.

One additional check is to reset how Windows detects the monitor:

    1. Open Device Manager > Monitors.
    2. Right-click the Dell monitor and select Uninstall device.
    3. Restart the PC and let Windows detect the monitor again.
    4. Check Settings > System > Display > Advanced display afterward.

If it still shows 60,000 Hz while the display otherwise works normally, I recommend reporting the incorrect value through Feedback Hub (Windows + F) as suggested by AI answer.

I hope this helps narrow down whether the unusual value is coming from Windows' monitor detection.

    Hi,

Regarding the 60Hz monitor: are you saying there is a visual bug showing it as 60,000Hz, and is that the problem?

    Thanks.

Try these Windows steps in order:

    1. Check the current display mode
      • Go to Start > Settings > System > Display > Advanced display.
      • Review the Display information panel. This shows the current resolution and refresh rate for the selected display.
      • In Choose a refresh rate, select 60 Hz if it appears.
    2. Watch for resolution-linked refresh rates
      • In the refresh rate list, entries marked with an asterisk can change the display resolution when selected.
      • If the display is reporting an incorrect mode, this can explain abnormal values in Advanced display.
    3. Roll back the display driver if the problem started after an update
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Display adapters.
      • Right-click the display adapter > Properties > Driver tab > Roll Back Driver.
      • If the option is available, use it and then recheck Advanced display.
    4. Reinstall the display driver if rollback is unavailable or does not help
      • Open Device Manager.
      • Expand Display adapters.
      • Right-click the display adapter > Uninstall device > select Attempt to remove the driver for this device > Uninstall.
      • Restart if prompted.
      • Open Device Manager again.
      • Expand Display adapters.
      • Right-click the adapter > Update driver > Search automatically for updated driver software.
    5. Identify the graphics adapter
      • In Device Manager > Display adapters, note the manufacturer and adapter name.
      • This helps confirm which display driver is controlling the monitor.
    6. If the issue continues, submit a bug report
      • Use Windows Feedback Hub and include the exact behavior: a 60 Hz monitor showing 60,000 Hz as the only refresh-rate option in Advanced display.

    Important:

    • Use only refresh rates supported by both the graphics adapter and the monitor.
    • Selecting unsupported display settings can cause display problems.
