If Windows shows Only one language pack allowed or Your Windows license supports only one display language, the laptop is using Windows 11 Home Single Language. On that edition, additional display languages cannot be installed.
To confirm:
- Select Start > Settings > System > About.
- Check Edition under Windows specifications.
- If it says Windows 11 Home Single Language, changing the Windows display language from Spanish to English is not supported on that edition.
If the device is not Single Language, change the display language like this:
- Open Start > Settings.
- Go to Time & language > Language & region.
- Select English in Windows display language.
- Sign out when prompted, then sign back in.
If English is not available in the Windows display language list, the language pack must be installed first. After installation, sign out and sign back in for the change to apply.
Also note: changing the Windows display language can also change the keyboard layout. At sign-in, use the input language icon if the keyboard layout is different.
