Hi, I'm setting a booking page for my company. One of our location is in Richmond British Columbia Canada UTC-7. When i set it to that timezone and test out the booking page, when I hit "Book", it give me a popup "Please try again: Something when wrong. We couldn't book that appointment. Please reload the page and try again."

-the appointment is in the Booking page calendar and assigned to the Staff.

-the client do get the email confirming that it's booked

-the integration i have with Power Automate successfully completed.

-I've tested it on Chrome and Edge with 2 computers and with all cache cleared.

-I've cloned that Booking page to test again, same problem with that timezone.

-I've also cleared all past bookings to make sure timeszone change doesn't cause issues with past bookings on the calendar. Same problem.

-When i switch the Timezone to Montreal Quebec canada (after confirming the timezone synced on the cloud) it works.

-When i switch the Timezone to Irving Texas USA (after confirming the timezone synced on the cloud) it works.

-When i switch back to Richmond British Columbia, that "Please Try again" popup comes.

-I have not validated if the timezone booked are correct or not.

Can someone help?

Thanks!

Hi Sharon,

Thank you for sharing the detailed test results.

Based on your findings, the booking itself appears to be completed successfully, since the appointment is created, assigned to the staff member, the confirmation email is delivered, and the Power Automate flow completes. The popup may therefore be an incorrect error message displayed after the booking has already been processed.

Since you have isolated the issue to the Richmond time zone, could you confirm the exact time-zone name selected in the Bookings settings?

  • Also verify that the time zone configured for the customer-facing booking page matches the time zone of the booking calendar account in Outlook on the web. These settings are managed separately in Microsoft Bookings.
  • As you have not yet validated the booked time, create a test appointment and compare the time shown in the customer confirmation email, the Bookings calendar, and the assigned staff member’s Outlook calendar.

If the appointment time is correct and the popup continues to occur only with the Richmond/Pacific time-zone setting, this may require further investigation by Microsoft Support. In that case, your organization's IT administrator can open a support request through the Microsoft 365 Admin center and include the test results you have already collected.

In the meantime, users should avoid immediately submitting the booking again when the popup appears, because the appointment may already have been created successfully.

I hope this information helps move the case forward. Should you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to share them in the comment below. I'm very happy to help.
