You need to tell us what license you are supposed to be on -

Are you on subscription, such as Msft 365 personal, or family?

Or perpetual license like Office Home 2024, or Office Standard/Pro Plus/LTSC, which one?

    Try these steps in order:

    1. Repair Office from Control Panel
      • Open Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features.
      • Select the Office product.
      • Select Change.
      • Choose Quick Repair and then Repair.
      • If Excel still fails after that, run Online Repair from Settings > Apps > select Office > Modify > Online Repair.
    2. Update Office
      • Open any Office app such as Word.
      • Go to File > Account.
      • Under Product Information, select Update Options > Update Now.
      • If Update Now is not shown, select Enable Updates first.
    3. Start Excel in Safe Mode and disable add-ins
      • Press Windows key + R.
      • Type excel /safe and press Enter.
      • If Excel opens, go to File > Options > Add-Ins.
      • At the bottom, in Manage, select COM Add-Ins > Go.
      • Clear one add-in, select OK, and restart Excel.
      • Repeat until the problematic add-in is found.
      • Then repeat the same process for Excel Add-Ins if needed.
    4. If Excel opens to a blank window
      • Run Online Repair again. This is the recommended fix for the blank-screen opening issue.
    5. Get Microsoft support
      • If repair, updates, and disabling add-ins do not fix it, use the Contact us option from Microsoft Support.
