    Hi @Troy Rolfe

To better understand the issue, could you please provide a few more details?

-Does the issue occur during video calls, screen sharing, or both?

-How long has this issue been happening? Does it occur in all calls or only with specific participants?

-What version of Teams are you using? Does the issue occur in the Teams desktop app, Teams on the web, or both?

-Have you tried using the camera for video calls in other applications? If so, does it work normally there?

-Are you using an integrated or external webcam?

In the meantime, please try the following:

-Update Microsoft Teams to the latest version.

-Sign out of Teams completely, restart the device, and sign back in.

-Clear the Teams cache: Clear the Teams client cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

-Compare the behavior between the Teams desktop client and Teams on the web.

-Make a test call in Teams: Go to Settings in Teams > Devices > Make a test call to check if it's working well there

-If you’re using Windows 11, go to Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Cameras, select your camera, and check the available camera settings to make sure an appropriate resolution and quality setting is selected.

    Try these in order:

    1. Check whether the blur is caused by a Teams effect
      • In Teams, open More actions > Video effects and settings.
      • Under Backgrounds, turn off Blur or select None.
      • If available, select Preview to confirm the image looks normal before applying.
    2. Make sure the camera lens is clean and not physically blocked
      • Clean the camera lens.
      • Check for a privacy shutter, slider, lock icon, or gray screen.
      • Open the Windows Camera app from Start > Camera and see whether the preview is also blurry there.
      • If the Camera app is also blurry, the issue is outside Teams.
    3. Test whether the problem is only in Teams
      • Open Start > Camera and check the preview.
      • If the camera looks fine there, the problem is likely in Teams settings rather than the camera hardware.
    4. Update Windows and camera drivers
      • Go to Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates.
      • If no camera update appears, go to Advanced options > Optional updates and install any camera driver updates.
      • Or open Start > Device Manager > Cameras, right-click the camera, select Update driver, then Search automatically for drivers.
      • Restart the PC after updates.
    5. If the image is low quality, improve the basics
      • Clean the lens again.
      • Adjust resolution settings in the camera app or video conferencing app.
      • Make sure the internet connection is stable during calls.

If the blur only happens in Teams before joining a meeting, also check the pre-join screen:

    • Select Video effects.
    • If the button is grayed out, make sure Camera is turned on.
    • Turn the background effect to None.
