onenote is disabled on demo device

hi i bought this laptop at a display model

when i try to use onenote it just says 'one note is disabled on demo device'

please help

Hi @Had

Since this laptop was previously a display model, it appears the retailer did not remove the Retail Demo configuration before selling it. Retail Demo mode can restrict apps and administrative features, which is why OneNote reports that it is disabled.

I recommend returning to the retailer and asking them to remove Retail Demo mode and restore the laptop to its normal factory configuration. If returning to the store is not possible, back up any personal files, then open Settings > System > Recovery > Reset PC, select Remove everything, and preferably use Cloud download to install a fresh copy of Windows. This removes installed apps, settings, and personal files, so please back up anything important first

After Windows setup is complete, install OneNote again and sign in with your Microsoft account

    Basically you need to take it back to the you bought it from and they will probably tell you factory reset it or they might of something extra (idk)
