I want to create a auto-labelling such as all documents get default label and once it fulfills the conf=dition then the confidential-sec label be applied to it but only client side.

In my labels, the default should have lower priority such as default 6, and confidential one 7.'

Created label publish policy and within that selected the default label as the default one.

Now every time I create a document it should have default label, and if sensitive detail added then it should have a confidential label.

Should this work or what should I configure for this scenario.

Similar to below one but only for client side.

    Yes, this will work.

I tested a similar configuration and that the Default label is applied when the document is created, and the Office client then immediately evaluates the content against the client-side auto-labeling rules.

If the configured Sensitive Information Types (SITs) are detected and the Confidential-Sec label has a higher priority, the label is automatically upgraded to Confidential-Sec.
