recovering/reinstalling MS Office and Outlook on a newly installed SSD hard drive

My SSD has crushed and became unreadable. Now the new hard drive is built in but I lost all Microsoft software (Office and Outlook). How can I recover/reinstall this software?

Most importantly, how can I reach a human that can help me with this?

Many thanks,

Aida

    Hi,

If the Q&A Assist procedure didn't work,

You can follow the link below to install Office 365 and Office 2024/2021:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/lifecycle/officeinstall/download-install-or-reinstall-microsoft-365-or-office-2024-on-a-pc-or-mac

    or

You can download the Office 365 installer (which uses the same setup as Office 2024); once the download is complete, simply sign in using the account associated with your Office 2024 license.

If Office or Outlook was previously activated with a Microsoft account, reinstall it by signing in with that same account and installing from the account page.

    Recommended path:

    1. Go to the Microsoft account dashboard and sign in with the Microsoft account that was originally used to set up Office.
    2. Open Subscriptions.
    3. If it is a one-time Office purchase, find the same product under Products you've purchased and select Install.
    4. If it is a Microsoft 365 Personal subscription, select Install Microsoft 365.
    5. Choose the language and version, then install.
    6. After installation finishes, open Word, Excel, or Outlook while connected to the Internet.
    7. If prompted, sign in with the same Microsoft account to activate Office.

If the PC originally came with Office preinstalled, the same reinstall flow applies from the Microsoft account dashboard. An offline installer is also available there by choosing Offline installer in the install dialog.

If Outlook is missing after reinstalling or after a reset, reinstalling Office restores missing apps such as Outlook, Access, or Publisher. On some new or reset PCs, Office may also need to be activated first and then updated from File > Account > Update Options > Update Now.

If the Microsoft account used for the original Office setup is no longer known or no longer accessible, Office cannot be reinstalled or activated until that account is recovered.

The provided material does not include a human contact method.
