Hello, I need assistance with a Bing Places listing that appears to be stuck due to a verification status issue. Business: (removed by Moderator) Website: (removed by Moderator) Country: Belarus The Bing Places team manually verified our listing. On August 13, 2026, we received an email from Bing Places Support stating: “Your listing has been successfully verified.” After this confirmation, the dashboard briefly allowed us to edit the listing. We updated the phone number, email address and business category. After saving these changes, the listing became locked again and the dashboard now says: “You will be able to add or update your business information after your business has been verified.” It has now been almost four weeks since Bing confirmed that the listing was successfully verified. We have contacted [email protected] again but have received no response. We also have an existing Bing Places support case: (PII removed). Could a Microsoft moderator or Bing specialist please help investigate whether the verification status is stuck or was incorrectly reset after the listing changes? I can provide screenshots and account/listing details privately if required. Thank you.

    Hello,

I would like to provide an update. The issue is still unresolved as of October 13, 2026.

Our Bing Places listing was manually verified by Bing Places Support, but after we updated the phone number, email address and business category, the dashboard reverted to “Verification required” and has remained locked.

We have contacted Bing Places Support several times and have also repeatedly followed up with [email protected], but the issue has still not been resolved.

I have found several similar Bing Places verification cases on Microsoft Q&A where a Bing Places Support Specialist was able to investigate the issue privately.

Could a Bing Places Support Specialist please review our case and contact us via private message so that we can provide the listing details and support case numbers privately?

We would be grateful for a backend review of the verification status.

    Thank you.

    Hi motomarket,

Thank you for explaining the sequence of events so clearly. I understand that it has been almost four weeks since Bing confirmed the listing was verified, and that you have already followed up with the Bing Places team without receiving a response. Since the dashboard reverted to “Verification required” after the business details were updated, the listing may need to be reviewed again by the Bing Places team.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, cannot access Bing Places back-end systems, check the status of an individual support case, or expedite the review.

You may send a brief follow-up in the same email thread, referencing the original verification confirmation and attaching screenshots of the current dashboard status. It may also be worth checking the Spam or Junk folder for any reply or Bing Places for Business. To keep your information private, please do not post the case number, business contact details, or account information publicly. For more information, please visit How to report a concern or contact Bing

I hope the Bing Places team can review the listing history and clarify why verification was requested again. Thank you so much for your understanding.

This scenario matches a Bing Places verification state that cannot be corrected through community support.

    Supported next steps:

    1. Sign in to the Bing Places portal and check the listing status there.
      • If the listing shows Verification required, the portal is the authoritative place to continue business-listing corrections and verification actions.
    2. Use the Bing Places support path while signed in.
      • For questions about adding a business or correcting listing information, use the Bing Places portal.
      • If self-service editing is blocked after verification, submit the issue through Bing Places support from the signed-in dashboard so the team can review the listing state internally.
    3. Include the exact symptoms in the support request.
      • State that the listing was manually verified by Bing Places Support.
      • State that editing was briefly available, but after updating the phone number, email address, and category, the dashboard reverted to Verification required.
      • Include the existing support case number 7107158768.
      • Attach screenshots if the support form allows it.
    4. If the business already has a verified Google Business Profile, try importing it into Bing Places.
      • In Bing Places, use Add a business > Import from Google.
      • The import process can take up to two days.
    5. If postal verification is the only method shown, there is no alternate supported self-service method to bypass it.
      • Request a new verification code if available.
      • If mail verification continues to fail or the listing remains stuck, Bing Places support is the required escalation path.

What is supported from the available guidance:

    • Business listing edits and corrections are handled through Bing Places for Business.
    • Community moderators do not have access to Bing Places backend systems or manual verification tools.
    • When a listing is stuck, the Bing Places support team is the group that can review or override verification-related issues internally.
