Hi Farnoush Yassini,
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Having your PC ask you to create a new Windows Hello PIN so often usually happens when Windows needs to refresh or re-provision the sign-in credential on the device (for example, after a security setting change, a policy requirement, or when the existing PIN credential doesn’t stay registered properly).
Here are some possible troubleshooting steps that you can try:
1 - Reset (or re-create) the PIN from Settings
- Sign in using Password (or choose Sign-in options on the login screen if needed).
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options.
- Select PIN (Windows Hello) and choose either:
- I forgot my PIN (recommended), or
- Change PIN
- Restart the PC and test again.
2 - Confirm Windows Hello is enabled correctly
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Sign-in options
- Ensure Windows Hello/PIN is available and configured
- If you see it disabled or unavailable, re-enable and set the PIN again
3 - If the device has a Work or School account connected, your organization may be enforcing sign-in requirements (including PIN rules).
- Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
- If there’s an account connected that shouldn’t be there, disconnect it (only if it’s not required), then restart and set the PIN again.
I look forward to receiving your update. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
