Hi Richard D'Angelo,
Thank you for posting your question in the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Regarding your question about changing sentence case in OneNote for Business on Windows:

Currently, OneNote does not offer a built-in "Change Case" feature like Microsoft Word does. This means you cannot directly switch between sentence case, UPPERCASE, lowercase, etc., using a button or shortcut inside OneNote.

However, you can still format your notes using the tools available on the Home tab, such as:

  • Font type and size
  • Bold, Italic, Underline
  • Highlighting
  • Paragraph alignment
  • Tags and styles like Heading, Page Title, Citation, and Quote.

If you want to apply consistent formatting across multiple sections, you can use the Format Painter tool:

  1. Select the text with the desired formatting.
  2. Click Home > Format Painter.
  3. Drag the paintbrush-shaped pointer over the text you want to format.

I try to find some official support articles bellow may helpful for you:

Sorry for the inconvenience it has caused, I kindly encourage you to submit feedback directly to Microsoft via this link: Go to: Microsoft 365 Feedback Hub → Send Feedback → Describe your proposal in detail. Your feedback is incredibly valuable. The more reports we receive from affected users, the faster this issue will be prioritized and resolved.
If you need advanced case formatting (like sentence case), we recommend using Microsoft Word or installing third-party add-ins such as Gem for OneNote or Onetastic, which offer extended formatting capabilities.

Warm Regards.
