A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data.
Windows 11 can open .oxps (Open XML Paper Specification) documents using Microsoft's XPS Viewer, but this format is designed primarily for displaying and printing documents rather than storing editable spreadsheet data. If XPS Viewer is not installed, open Settings > System > Optional features, select the option to add an optional feature, search for XPS Viewer, and install it if available. Once installed, open your OXPS file to examine its contents. However, Microsoft does not provide a documented direct OXPS-to-Excel conversion feature. If your document contains tables, a Microsoft-supported alternative is to capture the table using Windows + Shift + S, open Excel for Microsoft 365, and select Data > From Picture > Picture From Clipboard. Excel will attempt to recognize the table and convert it into editable cells. Review the extracted values carefully before selecting Insert Data, particularly if you intend to perform arithmetic calculations.
Alternatively, if you can obtain the original data in .txt or .csv format, Excel supports importing it directly through Data > From Text/CSV, which is generally preferable when accurate numerical data is required.
