    Welcome Forsythia Strategy Group LLC,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand that meetings you create in Teams show up in the Teams calendar and in Outlook on the web, but they don't appear in the Outlook calendar on your Mac, even though both apps use the same account.

To narrow down the issue, could you please confirm:

    • If you create an event directly in Outlook on the web (not from Teams), does it show up in Outlook on your Mac?
    • Do the Teams meetings show up correctly in Outlook on another device, such as the Outlook mobile app?

Please make sure you already tried the Q&A Assist steps. In addition, please try the following:

    1, Update Outlook for Mac

    • In Outlook, select Help > Check for Updates.
    • Install any updates from Microsoft AutoUpdate, then restart Outlook.

2, Check how the account is added to Outlook

    • Go to Outlook > Settings > Accounts and select your account.
    • Make sure it's set up as a Microsoft account (Outlook.com) and not as IMAP. An IMAP connection syncs email only, not calendar items.
    • If it shows IMAP, add the account again and choose Outlook.com as the account type.

3, Make sure the time zones match

    • On your Mac, go to System Settings > General > Date & Time and check the time zone.
    • In Outlook for Mac, go to Outlook > Settings > Calendar and confirm it uses the same time zone.
    • In Outlook on the web, go to Settings > Calendar > View and confirm it uses the same time zone.

4, Remove the account and add it again

    • Before you start, save any drafts or calendar changes that only exist in Outlook on your Mac.
    • Go to Outlook > Settings > Accounts, select the account, and click the minus (-) sign to remove it.
    • Quit Outlook, open it again, and add the account back. Then open Calendar and check whether the meetings appear.

    Looking forward to your update.

Reset the affected account in Outlook for Mac so the desktop client rebuilds its local calendar cache from the server.

    Reset the Outlook account

Because the meetings appear in Outlook on the web, the server copy exists and the remaining issue is isolated to Outlook for Mac. Resetting the account is different from reloading email folders:

    1. Before resetting, save or copy any drafts, calendar items, or other changes that appear only in Mac Outlook. The reset deletes information that has not synchronized to the server.
    2. Ensure the Mac is online.
    3. In Outlook, select Tools > Accounts.
    4. Select the Microsoft account used by Teams.
    5. At the bottom, select Manage (or the three-dot menu) > Reset Account.
    6. Leave Outlook open while it downloads the mailbox again.
    7. Open Calendar, select the account’s primary calendar, and check one of the affected meetings.

This is Microsoft’s supported cache-rebuild procedure for incomplete or incorrect Outlook for Mac data.^1^

If Reset Account was already part of “deleted and reloaded”

Do not repeat it. Instead, capture the synchronization error:

    1. In Outlook, select Window > Sync Errors.
    2. Select the gear icon.
    3. Choose Turn on logging for troubleshooting, then select OK.
    4. Restart Outlook and choose Leave Logging On when prompted.
    5. Reproduce the problem by creating a test meeting in Teams and waiting for it to appear in Outlook on the web.
    6. Quit Outlook to finish capturing the log.
    7. Restart Outlook and turn logging off; otherwise, the log files continue growing.

Outlook’s logs include calendar and synchronization errors. Review them for outlook.calendar and outlook.sync, or provide them to Microsoft Support. Logs can contain names, email addresses, and message or calendar contents, so remove sensitive information before sharing them.^2^

    Personal-subscription limitation

Microsoft 365 Personal does not provide the same full Outlook–Teams calendar integration as a Microsoft 365 work or school account; upgrading from Personal to Family does not add that enterprise integration.^3^

However, because your meeting already reaches Outlook on the web, first test the account reset above. If Mac Outlook still omits it after a complete resynchronization, continue using Outlook on the web for those meetings and contact Microsoft Support with:

    • Outlook for Mac version
    • macOS version
    • Whether the account address is Outlook.com/Hotmail or another provider
    • The time and subject of a test meeting
    • The Outlook synchronization log

Do not try Windows COM add-in instructions on the Mac. Outlook for Mac uses built-in Teams integration rather than the Windows Teams Meeting add-in.^4^
