    Hello,

Welcome to the Microsoft Outlook Community.

Good afternoon. What error message is reported when attempting to download the game?

Install the current “Roblox - Windows” app from Microsoft Store, or launch an experience on the Roblox website to trigger the desktop installer if the Store method fails.

    1. Check that the PC is compatible

    Roblox currently requires:

    • 64-bit Windows 10 or Windows 11
    • DirectX 10-capable graphics
    • At least 1 GB of RAM
    • Available storage for the app, experiences, and updates ^1^

    To check the Windows type:

    1. Select Start → Settings → System → About.
    2. Look under System type.
    3. Confirm it says 64-bit operating system.

A 32-bit installation of Windows does not meet the current requirement.

    2. If downloading from Microsoft Store

    1. Open Start → Microsoft Store.
    2. Sign in with your Microsoft account.
    3. Search for Roblox - Windows—that is the current Store listing identified by Roblox. ^2^
    4. Select Get or Install. ^3^

If the download will not start or remains stuck:

    1. Press Windows key + R.
    2. Enter wsreset.exe and select OK.
    3. Wait for the blank window to close and Microsoft Store to reopen.
    4. Search for Roblox - Windows and try installing again. ^4^

If the Install button is missing, Microsoft notes that possible reasons include device incompatibility, family restrictions, region availability, using the wrong account, or needing to restart after a Windows update. ^4^

    3. If downloading from the Roblox website

    1. Open the Roblox website in a current browser and sign in.
    2. Open an experience and select Play.
    3. Approve the prompt to download and run Roblox Player; launching an experience triggers the supported desktop installation. ^5^

If an older Roblox installation is interfering:

    1. Open Start → Settings → Apps → Apps & features.
    2. Uninstall Roblox if it is listed.
    3. Restart the computer—do not only shut it down.
    4. Download and install the latest version again. ^6^

If it still fails, record the exact error message or error code and whether it occurs in Microsoft Store or in the downloaded Roblox installer. Those details are needed to distinguish a Store problem, compatibility block, incomplete previous installation, or Roblox-specific installer failure.
