Hello, 2 days ago my computer did an update and since then it kicked me out of my one drive account. No matter what I do after signing out and trying to get back in it gives me an error message to contact my administrator since it doesn't recognize my account. I'm the owner of the account and can't seem to get this fix. I need it for work now I'm 3 days without doing any work falling behind. Error below for I get when trying to sign in.

    Hi Michael Urquiza

Based on your screenshot, OneDrive is returning Error Code: 895156191 with the message: "Number of retry attempts exceeds expectation". Since the issue started immediately after a Windows update, the problem may be related to a corrupted OneDrive credential, cached sign-in tokens, or an issue with the Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) work account registration on the device.

To better understand the situation, could you please let me know:

    • Can you successfully sign in to portal.office.com and access OneDrive on the web?
    • Does the issue occur only on this device, or on other devices as well?
    • Is this Microsoft 365 account managed by an organization, or are you the Global Administrator/owner of the Microsoft 365 Business tenant?

In the meantime, you can try the following steps:

Disconnect and reconnect the Work or School account

    • Go to Settings > Accounts > Access work or school
    • Select the connected work account and choose Disconnect
    • Restart the device and reconnect the account and try signing in to OneDrive again

    Reset OneDrive

    • Press Windows + R, enter %localappdata%\Microsoft\OneDrive\OneDrive.exe /reset
    • After a few minutes, start OneDrive again from the Start menu and test the sign-in.

    Clear saved Office credentials

    • Open Credential Manager > Select Windows Credentials
    • Remove Microsoft 365, Office, OneDrive, or Azure AD-related credentials and try to restart the device and sign in again

If this account is managed by your organization's IT department, please contact your Microsoft 365 administrator and provide the Request ID, Correlation ID, and Timestamp shown in the error message so they can review the corresponding sign-in logs.

If you are the Microsoft 365 Global Administrator or the only administrator for the tenant, please let me know whether you can successfully access Microsoft 365 and OneDrive through a web browser. This information will help determine whether the issue is related to the local device, the OneDrive client, or the account itself.

I look forward to your update.
