Microsoft does not currently publish an individual disability discount for Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Bookings requires an eligible work or education subscription rather than a Microsoft 365 Personal or Family plan.
Discounts or financial assistance
Microsoft’s public accessibility resources do not list a dedicated Microsoft 365 discount or financial-assistance program for individuals with documented disabilities. A Microsoft Q&A response addressing this exact request also reports that no disability-specific discount is currently offered, although Q&A is not a formal pricing-policy page.^1^
Because promotions and eligibility programs can change by country, contact the Disability Answer Desk to ask whether any current regional program applies to you. It provides accessibility-related support for individual users of Microsoft 365, Windows, and Xbox.^2^
The Disability Answer Desk specializes in accessibility and assistive-technology support; it should not be treated as confirmation that a discount is available.
Access to Microsoft Bookings
Bookings is not sold as a standalone application and is not listed as part of Microsoft 365 Personal or Family. Microsoft documents it for eligible subscriptions including:
- Microsoft 365 Business Basic, Business Standard, and Business Premium
- Microsoft 365 and Office 365 enterprise, frontline, government, and education plans listed in the Bookings licensing table
- Teams Essentials and Teams Premium
Outlook on the web must also be enabled. An eligible Bookings license provides the ability to create and manage booking calendars.^3^
Therefore, there is no documented route for an individual to add Bookings to a Personal or Family subscription. The practical options are:
- If an employer, school, healthcare organization, or nonprofit provides your account: ask its Microsoft 365 administrator whether your assigned subscription includes Bookings and whether the app is enabled.
- If purchasing it yourself: an eligible business subscription is required to create and manage your own Bookings calendar.
- If another organization adds you to its existing Bookings calendar: users added as staff in an Administrator or Viewer role can access that existing calendar, but this does not provide a personal Bookings service of your own.^3^
When licensed, Bookings is available through the Microsoft 365 web app chooser. It can also be added in Outlook or Teams through Apps → search for Microsoft Bookings → Add.^4^
Submit the accessibility-focused subscription proposal
Submit the suggestion directly from a Microsoft 365 application so it reaches the applicable product team:
- Windows desktop: Help → Feedback or File → Feedback
- macOS: Help → Feedback
- Microsoft 365 web apps: Help → Feedback
- Outlook on the web: sign in, open Help, and select Feedback at the bottom
- Microsoft 365 mobile apps: profile picture → Help & Feedback or Send Feedback
Microsoft states that this feedback is reviewed by its product teams. Include the concrete proposal—an affordable accessibility plan combining Bookings, Outlook, To Do, OneNote, reminders, and AI assistance—and optionally allow Microsoft to contact you.^5^
For help configuring existing products around memory, concentration, organization, or assistive-technology needs, contact the Disability Answer Desk separately. Organizations should use the Enterprise Disability Answer Desk instead.^6^
A public Q&A forum cannot forward or approve a pricing or product proposal, so submitting it through Feedback is the appropriate product-development route.
