can't set up outlook

Could you clarify where you are getting stuck while setting up New Outlook?

1. Are you trying to add your email account, sign in, or configure your account settings?
2. Do you see any error message, or do the instructions keep redirecting you to the same page? If there is an error, what does it say?
3. Is this a personal Outlook.com/Hotmail account or an account from another email provider?

I get as far as "waiting for email proider"

It buffers for a few minutes and then says "your email provider can no longer connect to outlook".

I have deleted my pc and my laptop from outlook as per instructionsl

I don't have a clue what to do from here.

The message “Your email provider can no longer connect to Outlook” suggests that New Outlook is having trouble connecting to your email provider. Removing your PC and laptop from Outlook may not resolve this if the issue is related to the account connection or sign-in authorization.

To narrow this down, could you clarify the following?

1. Which email provider are you trying to add to New Outlook? Is it Gmail, Yahoo, Outlook.com/Hotmail, or another provider?
2. Can you still sign in to your email account successfully through your provider's website using a browser?
3. Does the same error appear when you try to add the account on both your PC and laptop?

To begin, we'll need to know two things:

1- Which version of Outlook to do have: online [ https://www.outlook.com ], online app (Classic or New version), or downloadable app, i.e., Outlook 365?

2- Who is your email provider?

Once we have this information, we can get you the official directions, and you can tell us which step is stopping you.

I have a shortcut on my pc that when I open it, it says welcome to the new outlook.

I can sign in to my regular email which is shaw as the provider. From a shortcut or a browser.

I haven't tried my laptop yet. I removed outlook from both computers because that's what the directions from

microsoft told me to do. Directions said I could just reload them again.
